"No, this is the kind of fasting I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people."
-Issaiah 58:6 (NLT)
"If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy
But don't love, I'm nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.
If I speak God's Word with power,
revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day,
And if I have faith that says to a mountain, "Jump," and it jumps,
But I don't love, I'm nothing.
If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr,
But I don't love, I've gotten nowhere.
So, no matter what I say,
What I believe,
And what I do,
I'm bankrupt without love."
-1 Corinthians 13:1-7 (The Message)

it's called The Bakuman Challenge
and i decided to share it with all of you c:
The Bakuman Challenge
-In the manga/anime Bakuman, one of the characters, Mashiro decides to become a mangaka. He didn't have much experience, so he had to practice drawing. In one of the chapters, he practiced by drawing 100 DragonBall manga pages.
To do the Bakuman challenge, you simply choose 1 manga from your shelf. You can go online if you want.
You open up to any page in the book. I recommend either starting from the beginning, picking your favorite scene, or going to a difficult page.
Then, you draw it! You can draw with just a pencil on printer paper. If you want to get technical, you can ink it and write the words in the bubble. It can pretty much go on any paper (sketchbook, cardboard, etc.)
_What to Pick_
If your doing this to practice and you need to
KawaChou here! Name's Vanessa, but I go by many names. Nessi, Nessa, Chou, Probie (watch NCIS), and other names that usually associate with anime. KawaChou derives off the Japanese terms "Kawaii" meaning "Pretty" (childhood nickname from dad) and "Chou" meaning "Butterfly" (meaning of my name). Thus you smash the Japanese words together to get "KawaChou"!
Anyway, I'm 19 years old.
My specialty is in digital and traditional art, and writing. And recently animation.
I am slowly expanding my art abilities and trying to work my way into realism and improvement in anime art. I one day hope to write my one book series and manga.
I also hope to one day go to Japan. I'm teaching myself Japanese for now. As well as Japanese, I've taken American Sign Language and am teaching myself Japanese Sign Language. So wish me luck. I want to also be a part-time preschool teacher (more-or-less assistant), writer, animator, and mangaka artist.
On another note, I don't believe in giving criticism unless you're giving advice to back it up. If there is no advice to back up your critic, you are a bashing troll. I'm sorry, I don't tolerate that crap.
I believe everyone has an artist in them, they just have to find it.
My Current Obsession:
Once Upon a Time!
~I believe Jesus Christ is my everlasting Saviour!~
On the subject, I believe Christianity is a relationship, not just a religion!
